We function with the sole target of nurturing and training the individuals for future challenges by providing them with the best cricket training, state of the art cricketing infrastructure, and a golden chance to learn and explore more about the game through qualified instructors.

The start of Sledgehammer Cricket Academy (SHCA) in the year 2012 was a well-thought activity by Mr. Pradeep Mohanty, Managing Director – Sledgehammer, in association with his dreams we attempted to make a focal point of cricketing greatness both in education and training.An enthusiastic follower of cricket as a game, his sheer enthusiasm is a main driving factor in the creation of SledgeHammer Cricket Academy (SHCA).
At the SHCA Academy, players, mentors, umpires, ground keepers and youthful group are ready to overhaul their skills in a situation concentrated on focused development and accomplishment in our game. SHCA currently are preparing and training more than 117 children of various age groups. The Youngsters in our foundation currently play at the state level as well.
PRADEEP MOHANTY
An ardent follower of cricket as a sport, his sheer passion is a major factor in the creation SledgeHammer Cricket Academy. A marvel in the oil industry, Pradeep has blended his profession and his obsession towards the sport and taken it to a higher level. Under his expert supervision the cricket academy has played several national & international tournaments and have brought accolades as well. He ensured that cricket doesn’t remain sports for the rich hence we have team players across all socio-economic background. He aims to build SledgeHammer cricket team as one of the finest across the globe.
CHETAN SHARMA
Being 5’8″ tall, the bearded Sharma was one of the fastest bowlers in India during the 1980s. One the remarkable achievement being in the Reliance World Cu in 1987, Sharma Took the first hat-trick in the history of tournament when he clean bowled Ken Rutherford, Ian Smith and Ewen Chatfield of New Zealand off consecutive balls. Sharma was an important member of the Indian team that defeated England 2-0 in 1986. He took sixteen wickets in the two Tests that he played. He took 10 wickets at Birmingham, including a career best 6 for 58 in the second innings. It remains the only ten wicket haul by an Indian in England.

Outclassed various opponents on the way to final before winning the CII-Young Indians Corporate Premier Cricket League which was held in Chandigarh.

Former Indian Cricketers Mohammad Kaif & Reetinder Singh Sodhi graced the finals of the 11th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge Cup which was held at Faridabad.
